The Galaxy Hotel is a tried and tested value for money place!

The place is near the National Assembly and a few minutes of walking to several subway stations. The nice thing about the hotel is that it is literally surrounded by multiple 24-hour convenience stores, beautiful quaint cafes, and other restaurants.

A value for money hotel! Just good.

For Seoul standards an absolute value for money hotel. On 8 minutes walk from the subway, located in a quiet part of the city. Room with a perfect view. Just a normal, average and good hotel.

Pleasant stay

Hotel manager/ receptionist was very friendly - thank you for allowing me to do an early check in! but the Hotel had all the amenities; toothpaste, toothbrush, razor, towel, hair dryer. Had daily cleaning service and water bottle replenishment! Was worried that the bed in the Deluxe Double Room would be small for two but it was alright for two short girls !

Hotel was quite far from the closest subway station - Yeongdeungpo Market Station. The roads were bumpy and took around 15-20mins to drag luggage to and fro the hotel and the subway. Bathroom was one of those Korean ones where the entire bathroom would be wet after a shower. The sliding door of the bathroom would be soaked after showering. Would've been better if the room had a stool or a chair.

Neat and not bad for the price!

Check in process was very straightforward. Hotel manager/ receptionist was not fluent in English but it was alright for me as I could understand Korean. He was fluent in Japanese though! The neighbourhood is not a touristy one, loved the local and peacefulness of the neighbourhood. Hotel had all the amenities; toothpaste, toothbrush, razor, towel, hair dryer. Had daily cleaning service and water bottle replenishment!

Stay at literally ANY other hotel in Seoul! This hotel is unsafe and creepy!

This is an apartment officetel that's been converted to a budget motel. It is dingy and feels very unsafe. Your room has a door passcode, which the manager knows and can come and go from your room as he pleases. He can even take your bag from your room, after you've checked in. The worst hotel I have stayed in and worst experience I've had in Korea.

The service wasn’t good at all

it was in a good area.

one of the rooms we booked had a broken shower and they changed us to a new room that was dirty and not clean when we asked them to change the sheets they told us to go home in the morning. The men at reception were so touchy which was a bit uncomfortable. so we had to let it slide and sleep in stained sheets. The bed looked like it wasn’t made from the previous guests

Comfortable and great for the price

The location was great and the place was very clean and comfortable and pretty quiet. The staff are very kind and welcoming. Great price!

I suppose some guests might be picky about the look of the rooms and bathrooms which are a little dated, but it was clean, functional, and comfortable which is all that truly mattered to me.
